A super sized thank you for pointing to your large audience what I've been saying since I saw that stupid movie in my highschool gym class. I was so pist that this guy had that amount of attention with BS that even me at 16 years old could debunk in minutes. It bothered me as a teenager to see that a moron like that could make it's way to huge succes and through school curicculums with half informed point and be taken as gospel. I wanted so bad to make a documentary of my own and proving it wrong, but money for all your meals at a fast food joint for a month and a documentary set up is not much in the reach of the average 16 years old 😅 and TikTok wasn't a thing back then and RUclips either for that matter. I even said to my teacher pay me to do it, you'll see how full of 💩 this movie is. he didn't obviously, but I still endend up at McDonald's to eat my lunch out of spite for that lousy movie. * To be clear here, I'm not advocating for McDonald's here or saying that a fast food diet is better or equal to an healty balanced diet, I don't think I ate at a McDonald's joint since 2012 or something. I'm just saying that this movie was shite and full of half truth and should have been discredited from the get-go.

When I saw the movie decades ago I knew he was full of it. I criticized him for not doing any form of exercising because he claimed people don't have time to exercise, which was weird because I think that part of the movie had a group of teenagers walking and I think they had a basketball with them. I criticized the fact he went from a vegan diet to a fast food diet as well. He was definitely going to get a reaction from that alone.

I used to believe it but after seeing recent interviews about him drinking had me rethink what I watch.

Yeah he was a lying, drug addicted, alcoholic but McDonalds is still terrible for you and you should never consume it.

I thought the premise was stupid even back when it first came out. If you eat at any restaurant fast food or not three times a day and don't exercise at all of course you'll gain weight!

Its really bad that the whole thing had a lot of inacuracies to it, true and honest facts always win in the long run. Though i do feel like it was at least something for a good cause. It cost McDonalds a lot of money, got some people more health conscious and removed an item from the McDonalds menu that would've escalated the obesity climb in the US (and maybe world) Now days when you have people falling for AI and Crypto scams or buying into BS that are just false and hurting people then this one feels tame in comparison. People will obviously dislike the thought but its a lie that's ultimately a force for good. Kind of like how Defibrillator are known as "Heart starters" when in reality they stop the heart to generate an electrical impulse and start a normal rhythm. But no one would want to use a tool called a "Heart stopper" so they instead lie in the name.

I was a fat kid and when i saw this i rolled my eyes. He ate McDonald's for every meal and super sized it every time of course thats bad.

I’ve always hated Morgan Spurlock for making this. Any person with an IQ above room temperature knows how detrimental fast food is if eaten for every meal every day. A documentary isn’t needed for that. All it did was make McD’s remove their super sizes which were awesome as a treat on occasions.

I found the movie goofy but entertaining back when it came out. The only thing that surprises me here is that the guy was an alcoholic.

Saying he altered his results by not being very active is a bit of a stretch. He specifically uses statistics about the exercise (or lack there of) the average american has on a daily basis. It wasn't the average manhattan resident. Most people don't like in a metropolis setting walking everywhere. Most walk from the front door of their house to their car in the driveway, to the door of the office and up the elevator.

Okay, so, the first thing you claim as evidence in this video, is Swedish study by using collage students, and the fkn first thing you said was "tried to duplicate Spurlocks results, they recruited 7 healthy medical students in their early twenties to spend a month gorging on hamburgers, French fries, pizzas and other fast foods" thats not eating ONLY Mcdonalds for every meal, thats OTHER fast food restaurants, and newsflash, McDonalds doesn't sell Pizza.
